Doug has built his career around a lifelong passion for mechanical systems. After completing his Marine Diesel Mechanics training in 2001, he began working in the pleasure craft industry, gaining hands-on experience in marine mechanics.
Driven by his love of the sea and a desire to serve, Doug joined the Royal Canadian Navy, where he spent 15 years refining his expertise as a Marine Engineering Technician while serving his country with distinction. Following his transition from the Canadian Armed Forces, he successfully earned his Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal certification and has since applied his skills across a range of mill and institutional environments.
Doug is widely respected for his strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and unwavering dedication to his trade.
